Service Description

A one-hour tour of the "Sant' Antuono" forest in the Mottola countryside, also known as the "firefly forest." From mid-May to mid-June each year, it will also be possible to book a nighttime visit to search for fireflies, which during this time of year, during mating, give rise to the magnificent phenomenon of bioluminescence (subject to availability, municipal authorization, and WWF authorization). For nighttime visits, we recommend: comfortable clothing, and the use of flashlights, pocket lights, smartphone flashlights, camera flashlights, and other light sources that may impede, hinder, or disrupt the tour are prohibited. We also recommend maintaining maximum silence during the walk in the forest to avoid scaring and/or scaring away the friendly fireflies. Participants: minimum 5, maximum 20 for each session.
