On the occasion of the Autumn Equinox, enjoy a captivating experience at the Rupestrian Church of San Nicola: from September 22nd to 30th, 2025, around 4:45 PM, a ray of light will pass through a specially dug hole and precisely illuminate the heart of the fresco of San Nicola. Before the awaited moment, the guided tour will lead you to discover the history and characteristics of this extraordinary rock site. Immediately afterward, you will be able to witness this spectacle of faith, history, and astronomy, which has been repeated punctually at the equinox for centuries. The tour includes: Meeting at the INFOPOINT in MOTTOLA (TA), travel to the sites by your own vehicle, stopping near each church, and a short walk.
